Tetraplegics are as mentally alert as any able-bodied person. They have the same emotional needs, the same desires. But their bodies have been cut off from them. They cannot easily do what they want to do, go where they want to go, show the affection they feel.

REGAIN aims to help tetraplegics through their frustrations and help them regain their emotional strength.
This is done by directing them to professional counsellors and through the time and support of volunteer helpers and other tetraplegics.
