Successful Regainers in 2007

In 2007 we have made grants totaling £136,401 to 35 applicants, an increase of £36,000 from 2006. Equipment purchased includes electric wheelchairs, power assisted wheels, hand bikes, exercise machines, computer equipment and sports wheelchairs for playing wheelchair rugby.

Successful Regainers in 2006

In 2006 Regain made grants totaling £99,545. Grants were made to 28 tetraplegics on whose behalf we bought computers plus voice activated software; lightweight and electric wheelchairs; hand cycles; active passive trainers and a specialist powered wheelchair for a high level tetraplegic to use on our bike ride to China last year.
